Kismet is a sophisticated, deep blushed berry, whispering of red, like the deepest blush of a rich, velvety rose petal.
Oddly Zoya have this colour listed as in the red spectrum, I would say it has a red base but it is definitely a pink in my opinion.
Kismet has a fantastic formula, no running or pooling and opaque in one sweet coat, she also stamps nicely.
I also got my Naturel 6 order today, a quick note to say I will be doing swatch posts, however, I am not sure about doing a comparison post because these are not glitters as Zoya calls them, they are in fact teeny tiny little pink and gold flakies, so while I might have colours to compare Zoya does not have any other flakies polishes like these. Let me know if you want a colour comparison post.
I am going to test out the little extras from my order, they are the rescue serum and the repair base from the Gelli-Cure line, I have had a real issue with the middle nail on my left hand, I cannot get it to grow past the free edge without breaking, I'm wearing a false nail today for this swatch.
Glad to "see" you again! :) Zoya's descriptions are off (calling it red when it's pink, calling flakies glitter, etc.) more than usual because I'm pretty sure they've been using AI to write the descriptions (and most of their emails and promo things) :/ Kismet looks lovely on you! And I would enjoy colour comparisons of the Naturels if you wouldn't mind. Even if the finishes are off or the colours are very different, comparisons are helpful to compare with colours one already has and to get a feel for exactly the colour they are. :)
ReplyDelete:) ok colour comparisons it is, will do that tomoro. I do wonder if its because the owners are originally from Russia and of course english is their second language. I am very glad they are not glitter though lol, so much easier to remove.
Delete:D Yay! Looking forward to it!! That's a good point; I hadn't thought about that. But I did see someone on Instagram saying that they'd used ChatGPT or something to write some of those posts. The new colours look really interesting—I'm looking forward to seeing your comparisons and swatches! :D
DeleteOh really? why on earth would you use ChatGPT lol it just produces garbage lol as my old computer teacher used to say if you put garbage in you'll get garbage out.
DeleteOh my gosh, I totally agree!!! But it's everywhere and everyone seems to be using it without a second thought for the ethics, or the environment, or, y'know, how useless it is! There is just no need for it! At least I can rely on your descriptions ☺️
DeleteHahaha! Yeah I am way too old to be using ChatGPT, its all my own rambling weird brain thoughts :)
DeleteGood on you! I enjoy your rambles; even when they're colours I don't plan on getting, I enjoy reading your posts/blog and looking at all the pretty colours! :) 🌈
