Mia by Zoya can be best described as a very soft, muted dusty nude mauve-pink in a glossy creme finish.

Mis is such a lovely colour, a pale nude with a pink undertone, great formula, no running or pooling and I did two coats for my manicure, these pics were taken Saturday, I've had this polish on since Thursday, so there is tip wear.

Mia also stamps, likely best over a lighter colour.

Weekend nails and a clothing haul

Hi Friends

Today I'm sharing my manicure from the past weekend and week, I've just changed my nails today.

We went into Nottingham Wednesday and I had a great score from a couple of the vintage/second hand clothing stores.

For my nails I did 2 coats of Fancy Gloss Misbehaving, then I stamped with Zoya Landon the purple and Virago Varnish Not A Happy Camper the blue using Kads plate Flowers 60.

We parked at the park and ride and got the tram into Nottingham, our first stop was at 200 Degrees for tea and a Portuguese egg custard tart.  Fuelled up we headed for the vintage stores, first stop was årgång where I grabbed the long purple/orange flowered skirt and jean shorts, then we went to a couple of different White Rose shops and I grabbed the plaid shirt in one and the skirts in another, I think my fav things are the shorts, the plaid and the navy skirt with the red and pink flowers.

We needed lunch and were recommended Zaap a Thai restaurant, I had a Pad Thai and hubs had a red curry based dish, I also had a Butterfly Pea juice with soda water and lemon juice, very refreshing.

All in all a very successful day, as we also stopped into Weavers Wines and I got a new gin to try, we also got a box of chocolates from Chocolate Utopia the best handmade chocolates in Nottingham.  We headed back to the tram, back to the car and headed home, we were still so full from lunch that I had a slice of toast for my tea.

Weekend Manicure featuring Fancy Gloss

Hi Friends

Today on the blog I'm sharing my weekend manicure.

On weekends I like to wear thermals, they give me different looks every time I see my nails.

Today I started with two coats of Fancy Gloss Once Upon A Time, this is pale blue cold to pale pink hot.

I then stamped using Fancy Gloss Misbehaving, which is a vivid deep purple cold to a bright pink hot.  I used Hit The Bottle plate To Boldly Go, top coated with Barry M Plumpy. I did fix the moved polish on my thumb, it took longer to dry fully because of those bubbles.

A Zoya A Day - Bailey

Hi Friends

Today I'm sharing my swatch and review of the wonderful Bailey.

Available on the website - Yes
Brush used - Original
Does it stamp - No
Name - Bailey
Year - 2005
Number - ZP0300
Coats - 2
Finish - Shimmer
Collection - Hugs N Kisses
Colour - Pale Nude
Topcoat - No

Bailey by Zoya can be best described as a light neutral beige with a beige tint. A sheer base with cool pink duochrome shimmer and sparkling silver microglitter.

This is the palest of pale beiges, this has a good formula, no running or pooling and I did two coats for my swatches, this is a your nails but better type of polish, I dont think this would get opaque on its own.

The little sparkles give it a little extra pop. The shimmer was quite shy and didnt show up in my pics.  This also isnt a microglitter, theyre micro flakies, Bailey dries smooth and shouldnt be difficult to remove. Bailey will make a really cool topper.

I am missing Eva from this collection.

Name - Zelli
Year - 2023
Number - ZP1192M
Coats - 2
Finish - Neon Satin
Collection - Polish Of The Month
Colour - Pink
Topcoat - No/Yes

Zelli can be best described as a vibrant hot pink cream that packs a punch.

These two are stunning, you'll notice I have already switched out the white caps for black ones.

Marisol, interesting they call her a turquoise, comparing her to Echo and Mateo, I dont see any green or yellow undertone in Marisol.  Marisol had a great formula, no running or pooling and I did two coats for my manicure.

Zelli is bright! she also a great formula, no running or pooling and I did two coats for my manicure, I then used both polishes to stamp alternately on my fingers and thumbs.

I compared Zelli below.

Left to Right Marisol, Echo and Mateo, no dupes, Marisol is much brighter with more white than either Echo or Mateo.

Left to right, Zelli, Janie, Ali, Zelda and Cana. no dupes, Zelli is slightly brighter than Janie, its quite difficult to photograph neon pinks, my camera was like nope.  I think if you zoom in on this one you can tell there is a difference, its more apparent in real life.

Two coats each, no topcoat yet.

Stamped using each other using Hit The Bottle stamping plate To Boldly Go 01. I used Barry M Plumpy topcoat.

Weekend Mani and Zoya Haul

Hi Friends

Today I'm sharing my weekend manicure and my Zoya haul which arrived this morning (Saturday).

My manicure is a base of two coats of Fancy Gloss Kombucha a stunning deep brown when cold to orange/red when warm and white when hot, this is jam packed with green leaning ghost flakies too, great formula, no running or pooling.

I did then stamp over my middle fingers and thumbs using Color Club Beyond a black halo polish with Fab Ur Nails plate Fun 14.

My Zoya haul polishes look amazing :) so pleased with the two monthly polishes, I will be switching out those white caps for black ones though.

Tia can be described as a warm fuchsia pink with a shimmer.

I purchased Tis from Nail Polish Direct here in the UK, they still have some older Zoya that are discontinued on the Zoya.com website.

How gorgeous is this colour, I do like a bright pink, this one is lush and I am surprised at the one coat coverage, Tia has a great formula, no running or pooling and opaque in one coat. I am glad the shimmer in the bottle shows up on the nail too.

The promotional pic is not colour accurate at all.

A Zoya A Day - Paris (2)

Hi Friends

Today on the blog I'm sharing my swatch and review of the jelly Paris, second of her name.

Available on the website - Yes
Brush used - Z Wide
Does it stamp - No
Name - Paris
Year - 2018
Number - ZP0938
Coats - Various
Finish - Jelly
Collection - Jelly Brites
Colour - Pink/Red
Topcoat - No

Paris by Zoya can be best described as a non-streaking, buildable, translucent fuchsia jelly with an ultra glossy finish.

Such a pretty colour, a very red toned pink, I did 1 coat on my pointer fingers, 2 on my middle fingers, 3 on my ring fingers and 4 on my little fingers, I layered Fancy Gloss Rainbow Moonstone between 2 coats of Paris on my thumbs.

Paris has a good formula for a jelly, no running or pooling, she self levels well so not streaks or bald stops.

I'm also showing Paris 2 beside the original Paris from the 2006 Drama collection.
