A Zoya A Day - Eleni and Lillian

Hey Friends

Today on the blog we meet Eleni and Lillian, I also got some very good news but slightly annoying news lol, I have severe myopia aka short sightedness, I also developed cataracts from taking topiramate for my chronic migraines, well yesterday I got the call that I'm going to get my pre-op assessment in two weeks, the annoying part is I have to wear glasses for those two weeks not my contact lenses, I havent worn glasses full time since I was 15 thats 30+ years ago. They will measure my eyes for internal contact lenses then hope to do the operation itself near the end of December. I am struggling with the glasses as they arnt quite as strong as my contact lenses either, everything is extra blurry. I am registered as visually impaired, if I took my glasses off I would just be able to see to the end of my nose, but I can read hallmarks on jewellery without a jewellers loop!

Lillian by Zoya can be best described as a faded aquamarine with a glossy cream finish.

I love Eleni, a bright but soft blue, great formula, no running or pooling and opaque in two coats.

Lillian is gorgeous, almost a pastel neon blue, good formula, no running or pooling and opaque in two coats, check out my swatch stick though, the colour has faded to a grey colour, most interesting. My bottle is totally fine but there must be something in the pigment of this one for it to fade on the swatch stick.

Also thank goodness I can touch type because I really cannot see my keyboard. Also go me for denting the polish before it was dry.

We also managed to build one set of the Ikea Malm drawers last night, pic below.

  1. These are both lovely baby blues. :-D

Uggg I got told I have a cataract in my left eye. I got my eyes tested last week. I was shocked! So got referred. Also the optician said to book in for a diabetes blood test. So waiting to get that. The only good news she gave me was that my right eye is healthy and don't need spex for it!
