Colour - Brown
Topcoat - No

Anastasia is a discontinued polish by Zoya and described as a warm brown with strong golden oxblood plum duo-chrome and heavy gold, gilded micro-glitter.

Not sure where they get glitter from, this is a micro flakie finish, its smooth and doesnt need topcoat.  I love this polish as it has a lovely red undertone, gives me autumn vibes and the golden shimmer is lush. You can just see the duo-chrome in the bottle but it doesnt really show up on the nails.

As you can see this does stamp but its not great, I wouldnt probably use this for atamping, it might be ok over white though.

This is one of my fav browns, it reminds me of a friend called Louise, shout out to Loopy Frog, this has a gorgeous formula, no running or pooling and opaque in two coats, this also stamps like a dream and I've used it quite a lot for stamping.

Colour - Brown/Blue
Topcoat - No

Edyta by Zoya can be best described as a complex mixture of gold, olive, blue-green and smoky grey with a sparkling metallic finish.

This is one very odd coloured polish, The colour description says green/grey but it has a blue undertone and all that shimmer makes it look brown to me which is where I keep her. I have no idea why they say green/grey, its defo a blue undertone and has been since I purchased it new.

This has a great formula, opaque in two coats, this also reminds me of Tabitha, Devin and Gardner finish wise. I hope you can see the blue undertone in the stamping test.

Year - 2014
Number - ZP0745
Coats - 2
Finish - Cream
Collection - Naturel Deux
Colour - Brown/Plum
Topcoat - No

Marnie by Zoya can be best described as a full-coverage, deep warm plum
cream.

I'd say this is more brown toned that plum toned, its a great neutral for office wear without being very nude.

This is named for the youtuber Ms Goldgirl aka Marnie Goldberg, and yes they spelt her name wrongly and had to correct it, I got a bottle with the first attempt at Marney.

This has a really good formula, no running or pooling and opaque in two coats.

The other day I brought the light neons from Fancy Gloss, I'd planned to use them for stamping as I like my polish to be multi-purpose, unfortunately I couldnt get them to stamp :( so I joined their facebook group and it turned out I needed a sticky stamper rather than using my usual Big Bling from Clear Jelly Stamper one, thankfully I still had my very old Fab Ur Nails sticky stamper so give it a go and success, they stamp beautifully.

The first two pics with the blues are one of the neons and a thermal over white then the last two are the green and pink neons over another thermal. I've now ordered a new sticky stamper for these polishes.  I'm not a fan of actual stamping polish as the ones I tried would not clean up nicely when I used them, any good one coat polish will stamp and as you could see a lot of the Zoya also stamp.

Joni by Zoya can be best described as a deep, dusty plum cream, this also has brown undertones.

A very good formula, no running or pooling and opaque in two coats. The whole Sophisticates collection is stunning, one of their best Fall collections in my opinion.

Zoya in Foster can best be described as a decadent hot chocolate cream with pink undertones.

This is very similar to Dea from yesterday but as you can see in the comparison Dea has that orange undertone and Foster is a couple of shades darker.  Good formula, no running or pooling and opaque in two coats.

Couple of pics of my Ellie who was looking super cute this morning, I also took some pics of my Agapanthus flowers in their pot, that last pic is my Crocosmia Lucifer which was a cutting from my mums garden. My garden isnt very big, I only have two large raised beds but I have lots of pots of things.

Name - Dea
Year - 2004
Number - ZP0281
Coats - 2
Finish - Cream
Collection - Suede
Colour - Brown
Topcoat - No

Dea by Zoya can be best described as a warm milky light brown nude creme with soft orangey undertones. A natural brown that's not too dark, especially flattering beige greige for fall.

That's quite the description for Dea, the first coat was sheer and jelly like with a very orange undertone but once the second coat was on the brown took over, very good formula, no running or pooling. Dea dries shiny and stamps nicely.

In my quest to get fit for fifty my hubs introduced me to Zwift running, this is a game like environment where you can run through different worlds using your treadmill and a runpod, the runpod calculates your run pace.

More info can be found here -> https://zwift.com/uk/run

Its much nicer having scenery to look at rather than the bare garage where my treadmill is plus I can put my Spotify music on as well and off I go.

Mary by Zoya can be best described as a medium raisin cream in the classic 2-coat coverage formula.

This has a gorgeous formula, no running or pooling and opaque in two coats.  Mary has a very purple undertone, in the last pic I put Mary beside Lotus and Dea for comparison.

A Zoya A Day - Cheryl

Hey friends

Available on the UK website - No
Brush used - Original
Does it stamp - Yes
Name - Cheryl
Year - 2010
Number - ZP0527
Coats - 2
Finish - Metallic
Collection - Wicked
Colour - Brown
Topcoat - Yes, Barry M Plumpy, only on left hand.

Cheryl is a discontinued polish from Zoya and described as a smoky brown base completely packed with metallic copper, gold and mahogany metallic micro-glitter. I wouldnt say its glitter in this, it doesnt feel gritty, so I think its just shimmer micro flakies.

This is another one I wish Zoya would bring back, its stunning, great formula, no running or pooling and opaque in two coats, I think if you did a slightly thick coat you could get away with just the one coat too.

You'll see from the photos this dries dull, hence I put topcoat over my left hand so you could see this beauty pop, also this is what my bottle looked like after she sat on her shelf for a while, never worry about polish separating, just make sure there are mixing balls in the bottle and give it a good shake.

Name - Cinnamon
Year - 2015

Colour - Brown
Topcoat - None

Cinnamon by Zoya can be best described as a classic bronze liquid metal, originally designed for Zang Toi NYFW Fall/Winter 2015. They then put it into the Focus & Flair collection for fall 2015, I own all of the Flair half of this collection and two of the creams from the Focus half.

This is a stunner, Cinnamon is a one coat wonder, great formula, no running or pooling.  This has some brush strokes when wet but those disappear as it dries. This also stamps really well and you can see the metallic flash.

A Zoya A Day - Cola

Hey friends

Happy Friday

Today on the blog we meet Cola

Available on USA website - No
Available on the UK website - No
Brush used - Original
Does it stamp - No
Name - Cola
Year - 2010
Number - ZP0523
Coats - 2
Finish - Cream
Collection - Wonderful
Colour - Brown
Topcoat - None

Cola is a discontinued polish from Zoya and can be best described as a warm light brown cream with strong terracotta undertones.

This is a really deep terracotta colour, I#d say more like a Doctor Pepper colour rather than a cola colour, I#d say coca cola is an almost black brown.

This had a bit of a tricky formula, for want of a better word it was kinda sticky in that if I over worked it, it was creating streaks and sticking to itself.  It didnt run or pool though and was opaque in two coats.  You can see what I mean on my little finger, looks weird, I did the coat then ran my brush over it again and kinda dragged it. I didnt fix it as I want you to see what a polish does, its also why I dont wear top coat so you can see the actual finish of a polish. I also dont use topcoat on my swatches which is why it looks dull and matte like, but I think this was because I didnt do enough coats, the sticks I have can make a polish appear to dry matte.

Pru is a discontinued polish by Zoya and described as a bronzed plum with flecks of gold glitter and subtle purple and gold duo-chrome.

Ah Pru, I love this one, I'd say this is an accurate description, its in my brown section but it does have that plum undertone, its a bit thin but it was opaque in three coats with a good formula, no running or pooling. This is available from Nail Polish Direct if youre in the UK.

A Zoya A Day - Marcella

Hey friends

Today on the blog we meet Marcella

Available on the UK website - No

Does it stamp - Yes
Name - Marcella
Year - 2000
Number - ZP0125
Coats - 2
Finish - Shimmer
Collection - Classic
Colour - Brown
Topcoat - None

Marcella is a discontinued polish from Zoya but I found a description which is Marcella is described as a medium creamy brown with strong pink and mauve tones kissed with subtle frosty pink-toned shimmer.

Again with the mauve, this hasnt got mauve in it at all, I agree with the rest of the description though. The shimmer while visible in the bottle doesnt really show on the nail which is a shame.

Good formula, no running or pooling and opaque in two coats.
